Bed bugs are wingless insects that live in crack & crevices, Furniture, Folds of the mattress, box springs, behind Walls, frames, electric conceals. An adult bedbug can live up to a year and a half. Their bodies are broad and flat. Adults are 4-5 millimeters in length and reddish-brown in color. Eggs are white oval and about 1 mm in length. They feed mainly on human blood but seek the blood meal of other animals also. They prefer to feed at night and are able to live months without meals. A female bug can lay up to 500 eggs in its life span. Fertile egg hatch around 10 days of being laid off and is viable up to 20 to 30 days. Bed bugs are good travelers as they hitchhike with luggage, clothing, and furniture. Sign of bed bug includes rusty stains of blood on bed and excreta on walls or furniture.
